By Katie Fretland of The Commercial AppealA 35-year-old Memphis man was indicted this week on charges he shot and wounded a German Shepherd.Herlis Alcantara was charged with firing at a house at about 3:42 a.m. April 11 in the 6000 block of West Rosewind in the area of Raines and Hickory Hill, according to an affidavit.A man who awoke to the sound of gunshots said he saw his neighbor with a gun shooting at the house which contained four other people.

Updated: Jul 19, 2016 - 10:20 PMA Memphis man has been charged in a shooting that sent a young girl to the hospital and injured another woman.The shooting happened Monday night near Keel and Crockett in North Memphis.Police arrived on the scene and located a 27-year-old who had a gunshot wound on the right side of her face.
